Beveled laminate flooring edges are nothing more than a little grooves between laminate flooring planks. Many of those issues result from improper installation or unfavorable conditions for laminates. This helps to prevent gaps. Flooring purists also.

The more beveled the edge or end is the more apparent the grooves will be between the boards. Watch for gaps between pieces.
